CTC Course
The Certified Travel Counselor (CTC) program teaches owners and managers how to analyze new business opportunities, develop marketing strategies, and negotiate. Increase your knowledge, grow your business, and earn widely-recognized industry credentials.
The CTC curriculum covers 10 topics of study: Business Planning; Financial Planning; Marketing Strategies; Negotiating; Managing Change; Managing Conflict; Risk Management; Goal Setting and Motivation; Cultural Diversity; Making Presentations.
To earn the CTC, travel professionals must:
- Complete the CTA.
- Complete the 2000-3000 word White Paper.
- Pass the CTC test.
- Possess 5 years of full-time industry work experience.
- Commit to annual certification maintenance to retain their certification.
Price: $595 includes all materials, test, white paper and certificate upon successful completion. Plus shipping.
CTC candidates wishing to withdraw are entitled to a full refund less a $50 administrative fee provided they send their original study materials in saleable condition along with a written request for withdrawal within 30 days of their enrollment. After 30 days, no refunds will be given. One transfer per program is permitted for a charge of $75. A transfer can only be made if the person requesting the transfer has written permission from original purchaser to have transfer processed. Enrollments may not be transferred if Tuition Assistance is provided.
