For CTAs or CTIEs who want to earn their CTIE, The Travel Institute has made the path to that certification more direct. You now have the option of taking the CTIE test-only and submitting a White Paper instead of enrolling in the full program. By choosing this option, you will not receive any study materials. Individuals with five years of travel industry experience are invited to take advantage of this option.

Upon successful completion of the test and White Paper, candidates are required to submit a notarized CTIE Certification form to complete the certification process.

The CTIE test consists of 10 short essay questions and covers the following topics: Business Planning; Financial Planning; Marketing Strategies; Negotiating; Managing Change; Managing Conflict; Risk Management; Goal Setting and Motivation; Time Management; and How to Prevent Credit Card Fraud.
