The Travel Institute's new Destination Specialist Mexico explores the rich texture of this diverse destination that combines religious and cultural traditions with one of the largest metropolises on earth, 6,200 miles of coastline, and jungles and deserts, making it suitable for all types of travelers.
Destination Specialist Mexico is divided into three sections: a Mexico overview; the regions of Mexico; and selling Mexico. Learn about Mexico's geography, climate, seasons, transportation, accommodations, historical background, culture, celebrations and special events, dining, and shopping. The features of each of Mexico's ten geographical regions, such as local transportation and attractions are presented with maps, fast facts, and pronunciation guide. A study guide, job aid, and map of Mexico are included along with niche markets, cruise call, sales tips and strategies to help you sell this popular destination. Earn the Destination Specialist Mexico credential and complete the first step in becoming a Certified Destination Specialist.

REFUNDS and TRANSFERS
Candidates wishing to withdraw are entitled to a full refund less a $25 administrative fee provided they send THE TRAVEL INSTITUTE their original study materials in saleable condition along with a written request for withdrawal within 30 days of their enrollment. After 30 days, no refunds will be given. One transfer per program is permitted for a charge of $25. A transfer can only be made if the person requesting the transfer has written permission from original purchaser to have transfer processed. Enrollments may not be transferred if Tuition Assistance is provided. A $25 certification fee will apply for candidates seeking the Certification Destination Specialist designation.
I understand that I am required to complete the Destination Specialist course(s) within 12 months. I understand that one extension of up to three (3) months to the testing time limit may be granted upon request free of charge. No extensions will be granted beyond that period. All requests should be submitted to The Travel Institute in writing.
