The Certified Travel Industry Executive (CTIE) program teaches business-to business travel professionals how to analyze new business opportunities, develop marketing strategies, negotiate, and manage more effectively. Graduates will learn how to grow their business while earning recognized industry credentials.
The CTIE certification is parallel to the Certified Travel Counselor (CTC) certification, thus, representing the pinnacle of travel industry professionalism for seasoned business-to-business travel professionals who are interested in advancing their career. The CTIE curriculum covers 10 topics of study.
To earn the CTIE, travel professionals must:
- Complete the CTA or CTC program.
- Complete the 2000-3000 word White Paper.
- Pass the CTIE test.
- Possess 5 years of full-time industry experience.
- Commit to annual certification maintenance to retain their certification.
The CTIE program can be completed in 6 to 9 months, however, candidates have 18 months to complete the program and take the test. The program may be completed through self-study with testing available online or paper and pencil. Pricing:
CTIE candidates wishing to withdraw are entitled to a full refund less a $50 administrative fee provided they send their original study materials in saleable condition along with a written request for withdrawal within 30 days of their enrollment. Afte30 days, no refunds will be given. One transfer per program is permitted a charge of $75. Atransfe can only be maef the person requesting the transfer has written permission from original purchar to have transfer processed.
