The newly revised, self-paced program covers 15 critical areas of study designed to focus on skills needed to succeed as a travel consultant
This program gives you a deeper understanding of the travel manager’s vital role and of the skills needed to develop your team and accomplish your organizational goals.
This program helps you develop strong leadership skills, inspire your team and together achieve your company’s mission.
In addition to the draw of a specific destination, more and more travelers are planning their vacations based on a particular passion or interest. And much like The Travel Institute’s Destination Specialist training, our Niche Market Specialist programs give you that competitive advantage by equipping you with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver an experience that will keep your clients coming back for more.
Depending on the niche, the course is available in these formats: print and online. Individuals who have successfully completed the 25-question, closed-book exam and submitted the experiential checklist are encouraged to promote their expertise by including the designation after their names. For instance, Jane Smith, Certified Golf Specialist, is the proper designation. Successful completion of these specialist programs qualifies for 10 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), which is an annual requirement of CTA®, CTC®, and CTIE®.
The Travel Institute offers the following Niche Market Specialist programs: golf and luxury travel. Our courses focus on the particular segment, the kinds of travelers attracted to that type of travel, many destinations that cater to those clients, and action plans for you to start marketing your growing specialty travel business.
