Mark has over 30 years of advertising, sales and marketing experience working with major Fortune 500 companies and many companies in the travel and hospitality industry – including Royal Caribbean International and Globus, Inc. Mark is currently Senior Vice President, Membership & Marketing for the Knights of Columbus based in New Haven, CT. The Knights of Columbus is one of the largest global fraternal organizations. Prior to his position with the Knights of Columbus, Mark was President of Catapult – a division of List Partners, Inc. Mark was also Executive Vice President of List Partners, Inc. Catapult and List Partners, Inc. are organizations dedicated to helping companies accelerate their sales and new business development efforts.
Mark has conducted travel industry training and education programs for over 25 years in the areas of sales development, marketing, management, leadership and presentation skills development. Mark has been a speaker/trainer at numerous national and international conferences for some of the following organizations: ASTA, The Luxury Travel Expo, Platinum Luxury Society, Travel Trade Magazine, The Travel Institute, Home Based Agent Expo, AAA, American Express, Virtuoso, vacation.com, CAA and Carlson Wagonlit Travel. Mark and his wife, Jan, are former owners of a cruise-oriented travel agency.
Mark’s book, “Strategies for Selling More Successfully”, is in its second reprinting. The book is written exclusively for travel agency owners, managers and agents (i.e. brick and mortar agency and home based agents) – and offers practical tips on how to increase all aspects of leisure travel sales. Mark holds a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management and is an adjunct professor teaching advertising, marketing, management and sales development courses at several national universities.
