President, Travel Agent Success, Inc
Penney Rudicil started her travel career in 1996. She trained with Cendant, working in the reservations, training and accounting departments. In 1998 she became an independent contractor for a large host agency and a couple of years later started her own boutique host agency because of her passion to help agents.
Believing that education is the foundation of success, and due to her dedication to the travel agent community, Penney founded and is the president of Travel Agent Success, Inc. She has dedicated the past several years to facilitating seminars@sea, speaking at conferences, and leading workshops, as well as working with agents and agencies on various training programs. Personally she has competed CLIA’s ACC, MCC and ECC designations, and holds many other certifications.
She has served many associations in the travel industry, including 4 years on the Travel Agent Advisory Board for CLIA, the NACTA advisory board and as the Travel Agent Liaison for ASK – Agents Sharing Knowledge. She served as the Chapter Development & Seminar@Sea manager for NACTA. Penney currently writes a monthly column for the Agent@Home Magazine, entitled Gadget Girl – offering advice and recommendations for current technology.
In addition to being a travel consultant, business owner and trainer, she is a wife, mother, and volunteer. Penney and her husband, Kevin, have 5 children together but have raised 13 children to date. They have been involved in a special needs Foster Parent Program for teens since 1991. She and her husband have adopted two of these teens and continue to do emergency and respite care.
Penney’s passion is helping others to achieve their dreams, whether that be giving a child a home, helping a client plan the perfect vacation or working with a fellow travel agent in the success of their business!
