Get ready for an exciting update from The Travel Institute! We are thrilled to announce the upcoming Destination Specialist Vietnam course, exclusively for our Premium Access holders, launching Wednesday, May 1. You can look forward to this fresh addition to your Premium library next week. Meanwhile, why not take a look at our latest post? It’s packed with handy tips for travel advisors designing itineraries, especially those featuring Nha Trang.
Nha Trang is home to several stunning soft white sand beaches. The area is known for scuba diving, but visitors will find plenty of other beach activities, including relaxation and sunbathing. Tran Phu Beach is the most popular with lots of activities, including water sports and great restaurants. For a quieter beach, travelers should check out Bai Dai Beach. Peace and quiet also mean fewer amenities and dining options. For beachgoers and golf enthusiasts, the privately-owned Nhu Tien Beach also has a golf course with stunning views of the beach and mountains. In addition to renowned beaches, Nha Trang is famous for its cooking classes and lively nightlife.
Here are five additional attractions in this region to offer your clients.
1. Po Nagar Cham Towers
The Hindu temples located two miles north of downtown overlooking the Cai River were built between the 9th and 12th centuries. Both towers are now used as Buddhist temples. On a clear day (the best time is morning in winter), this is an ideal spot to photograph colorful fishing boats.
2. Vinpearl Cable Car
This is the longest overwater cable car in the world, connecting Nha Trang with Vinpearl Island. Vinpearl Island is Vietnam’s own version of Disneyland. It is a combination of amusement and water parks.
3. Hon Mun Island
The island’s coral reefs attract scuba divers and snorkelers from all over the world. For those not wanting to dive, glass bottom boat tours are available to view the deep-sea corals and sea life.
4. XQ Historical Village
This is a unique mix of working space, art galleries, and shops. It provides a showcase for more than 3,500 women—attired in Áo Dài or Vietnamese traditional dress—who work and sell their traditional arts of painted silk and embroidery.
5. Dam Market
A unique circular two-story market, visitors will find authentic street food, clothing and handbags, handicrafts, and souvenirs.
