Award Process
Calls for nominations take place each January with judging based on utilization of quality educational content/programming, ongoing investment, and overall impact. Additionally:
- Any contributor to education in the travel industry is eligible.
- A person or organization may be nominated and may also receive the award more than once.
- Nominators may submit on behalf of colleagues, peers and may also self-nominate.
- A nominator may be asked for a brief interview with The Travel Institute’s award committee to provide additional relevant information about the person or organization nominated.
- Recipients will be selected based on educational program content, structure, format and delivery.
- Nominations must be submitted electronically by the end of March for efforts in the prior year.
- The Travel Institute’s award committee will be in touch if/as needed for more information and the winner will be notified by The Travel Institute.
- Winners are announced by The Travel Institute during the second half of the year; presentation of the award is determined in collaboration with the winner and announced publicly.
