5 Ways to Celebrate Valentine’s Day as a Travel Professional

By Dana Zificsak, CTIE, certified business coach and member of our Professional Educators Program.

1. Destinations You Love. Each week of the month, pick one of the destinations you specialize in and schedule three posts about that destination. My destinations will be Turks and Caicos, Walt Disney World/ Disneyland, and Universal Orlando.

 2. Your Clients’ Favorite Destinations. Thinking of a favorite vacation spot brings clients such great memories. Ask your clients to share the destination they love. You can ask via email and obtain their permission to share on your social media (without their last name). Another way to include them is by making a post on your business page and ask them to share as a comment.

 3. Say Hello. Show appreciation to your clients who share your name often by connecting with them personally. Send them a voice message or call them to say hi and thank them.

4. Nothing beats a handwritten note. Send your best clients a “Valentine” note and send it to them in the mail.

5. Special Valentine’s Day Post. If you could have Valentine’s Day dinner anywhere in the world, where would it be? Describe it for your clients and schedule the post for February 14. Using special occasions is a great inspiration to connect with clients
