The Travel Institute was just awarded another Magellan Gold Award—this time for our Certified Travel Associate, or CTA®, program focused on front-line agents’ higher learning. This prestigious honor comes on the heels of last year’s Magellan Gold for TRIPKITSM, our introductory training program. According to the Magellan awards team, our CTA program is a standout amongst “hundreds of entries from top travel organizations and professionals worldwide” and their recognition demonstrates our “high standard of excellence.”
Both of our gold award winners have long and widely been regarded as the industry’s gold standard. As the travel industry’s education leader, we believe these awards further validate the CTA while also helping agents clearly discern their best educational choice. With more than 30,000 graduates across our flagship 3-tier certification program, the CTA® is our most popular. Our graduates benefit from increased knowledge, enhanced business skills and boosted confidence while also reporting greater earnings and higher job satisfaction over their counterparts. Indeed, the CTA is a small investment with significant lasting returns.
Celebrating 60 years of excellence in travel education this year, our momentum is palpable with two awards in two years, countless impressive milestones, and many recent and positive indicators about the critical role agent education is playing in industry success. On behalf of our entire team, sincere thanks to:
- the judging panel—some of the industry’s best and brightest.Their recognition of the CTA is critical in validating our work and each student’s selection;
- the front-line agents, agency owners and managers, and organizations who have made the CTA their advanced training program of choice; and
- our subject matter experts for their expertise and generosity in ensuring our content is continuously relevant.
Safe Travels,
