The travel industry doesn’t stand still, and neither can we.
At The Travel Institute, we spend a great deal of time listening. We listen to travel professionals about where they are succeeding, where they are challenged, and, most importantly, what they need to feel more confident, more knowledgeable, and better prepared for what comes next.
That listening is shaping what we’re building.
Over the next several months, you’ll see The Travel Institute continue to expand with education designed around the realities of today’s travel business. And I’m especially excited about what is coming next.
Within the next few days, we’ll launch a Tokyo Specialist course and our new Air Travel Immersion program. These are very different learning experiences, but they share an important purpose: giving you knowledge you can put to work immediately.
Tokyo Specialist is about going beyond the destination, building the confidence and insight to sell Japan with greater expertise and create experiences that feel truly personal to your clients.
Air Travel Immersion takes a complex part of the travel business and makes it practical. It’s designed to help you better understand air travel, ask smarter questions, navigate options, and have more informed conversations with your clients.
And we’re not stopping there.
This fall, we’ll introduce a Cruise Travel Specialist course, followed by a Romance Travel Specialist course. Each is designed to help travel professionals build deeper expertise in high-demand travel niches and strengthen their ability to stand out in a competitive marketplace.
And when you complete any of these programs, you’ll gain more than knowledge. You’ll gain greater visibility. It’s an opportunity to showcase your expertise on social media, feature your credentials in newsletters and on your website, and, if you’re a CTA, CTC, or CTIE alumnus, opt in to directories like the Find a Travel Advisor Directory. Most importantly, it gives you another reason to reconnect with clients, demonstrate your specialized knowledge, and curate unforgettable travel experiences.
Our industry is changing quickly. Client expectations are changing. Technology is changing. The way travel professionals build relationships, sell experiences, and demonstrate their expertise is changing. Education has to change with it.
That is why we are continuing to evolve The Travel Institute, not simply to teach you more, but to help you do more with what you know.
Because continuous learning isn’t about checking another box. Rather, it’s about staying curious. Staying relevant. Staying ready for the next client, the next opportunity, and the next shift in our industry.
As we grow, our commitment remains the same: to be an asset at every turn of your professional journey.
So, whether you’re looking to deepen your destination expertise, strengthen your selling skills, expand into a new specialty, or simply stay ahead of an industry that never stops moving, I hope you’ll continue to grow with us.
We’re listening. We’re evolving. And we’re building what comes next, with you in mind.
