This is what Cindy has to say about the incomparable Tanzania:
Tanzania, located on the eastern coast of Africa, is a land of breathtaking landscapes, from its inland wonders to its stunning coastline.
Home to the famous Serengeti National Park and Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in Africa, Tanzania offers a rich tapestry of natural beauty and cultural heritage, with over 120 tribes spread throughout the country.
Tanzania is the perfect getaway for everyone—families, birdwatchers, photographers, church groups, honeymooners, and more. One of the most popular activities is embarking on a safari adventure, where you can witness the incredible wildlife and scenery that Tanzania has to offer.

Getting There
To enter Tanzania, a visa is required. You can obtain this either online through the Tanzanian government’s website or upon arrival at the airport. Flights from the United States typically take an average of 18 hours or more, depending on your chosen airline.
Most safari companies offer transportation from the airport, ensuring a smooth start to your adventure. Usually, your clients will have the same safari guide throughout their journey, providing a consistent and personalized experience.
Planning the Perfect Safari
Including a meal package in your clients’ itinerary is a great way to simplify their trip, allowing them to focus on enjoying their adventure. With thousands of safari companies to choose from, it’s important to find one that aligns with your core values and fits your clients’ budgets. Thoroughly vet any company you decide to work with.
Customizing the itinerary based on your clients’ interests is key. For example, a young group of adults might enjoy an adventurous experience, such as camping in tents and using shared facilities, while a retired group might prefer luxurious accommodations with private amenities.

Understanding your clients’ preferences and budget is crucial for creating an itinerary that meets their needs.
Top National Parks
Tanzania boasts 22 national parks, with the northern circuit being the most popular. This includes Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, and Arusha National Parks. Each park offers unique experiences and stunning landscapes, making them must-visit destinations on any safari.
Tips for an Amazing Safari Experience
- Long Drives: Your clients will spend extended periods in safari jeeps, so it’s important they are prepared for long, bumpy, and dusty drives, especially on dirt roads during the dry season.
- Safety: Clients should always stay with their guide and never wander off on their own in the national parks, because the wildlife is truly wild.
- Convenient Travel: If the Serengeti is the last park on their itinerary, consider scheduling a flight back to Arusha to avoid a long drive. Offer them the option to fly or drive back for added convenience.
By thoroughly understanding your clients’ interests and involving them in the planning process, you can ensure they have the most amazing time on their Tanzania safari. A well-planned and personalized safari not only will provide them with unforgettable memories but also may earn you a glowing review.
