What inspired you to pursue a career in travel and tourism? Was there a defining moment?
I’ve always loved traveling and exploring new cultures. After retiring from a finance career, I realized I wanted to turn that passion into a profession. The defining moment was when I decided to help others create unforgettable experiences, especially in luxury travel where attention to detail matters most. Combining my organizational skills with my love for travel made this career the perfect fit.
Can you share a moment in your career when you realized, “This is exactly what I’m meant to do”?
After planning a honeymoon for a couple traveling through Milan, the Dolomites, Florence, Tuscany, and the Amalfi Coast, I received heartfelt feedback from them about how perfect everything was. Knowing I helped create such lasting memories made me realize this career is exactly where I belong.
How has your journey evolved since graduating from The Travel Institute?
Graduating from The Travel Institute gave me the foundation and confidence to specialize in luxury travel and cruises. Since then, I’ve earned additional certifications, sharpened my skills, and grown my business significantly. The education helped me turn a passion into a rewarding career.
